Duties and Responsibilities:
Ophthalmologists
specialize in treatment of eye disorders and diseases. They treat visions
problems with prescription. They also perform eye surgery if it’s necessary. Most
ophthalmologists work in private practices, however some do work in hospitals
and clinics.
Average Salary: $90,000 - $150,000
Education:
Only physicians
can study to become ophthalmologists. After completing medical school and an
internship, an ophthalmologist must then complete a three to five year
residency in an ophthalmology program.
I wouldnt like to be an ophthalmologists because it isnt something that catches my attention. Also, i wouldnt think i would trust myself to do eye surgery.
