Optician

                          Optician
Duties and Responsibilities:
Opticians fit and give out eyeglasses for patients based on prescriptions. Optician’s help the customer’s choose eyeglass frames and measure their faces so that correct size frames can be ordered. Opticians own retail store or work for an optical store.  Some also work for optometrists and ophthalmologists who sell glasses.

Salary: $19,000 - $40,000

Education:
Students should take high school courses in physics, algebra, mechanical drawing, and geometry. They need to have a high school diploma or GED certificate to begin training as an optician.  Students either complete an approved two-year course at a school of optician, or they can complete an approved three year on-the-job apprenticeship.

I wouldnt want to be an optician because it isnt a career i am interested in. I want to work in a hospital or clinic as a nurse or doctor.
