I think what Woodrow Wilson is saying in this quote is he will always choose the right. He'll fight for the right even if it's difficult. He will fight for the right even if it's easier to do the wrong. For example, if a person who does drugs knows is wrong and can affect your health but yet he/she does them. They'll fight for the right to stop even if it's hard. Even if its addicting but they want to do whats wrong right they will fight to stop!!
