Hygienist
Duties and Responsibilities:
Industrial hygienists usually analyze health hazards,
conduct health risk assessments, manage industrial or business health programs,
and provide consultation. They can be administrators, teachers, researchers, or
consultants. Industrial hygienists often:

Collect samples and
do laboratory analyzes.

Investigate any
health hazards
·
Instruct employees
about any injury preventions.
Salary:
$40,000 - $60,000
Education:
During
high school, students should take college courses, especially in math and science.
Having a career in industrial hygienist you need a Bachelor’s Degree in environmental
health or physical sciences. Some jobs require a Master’s Degree also. A certification
requires completion of the American Board of Industrial Hygiene examination.
I wouldn’t
like to be an industrial hygienists because it doesn’t catch my attention. It isn't what I would like to be when I grow up.
